The end.

Last day at GE. It's done guys. 3 not bad months.

3 months of typing letters, folding letters, sending cheques, blue paper, case IDs and checking signatures.

It's over.

Hmm. I still remember the first day of work which was so mothereffin' boring that I wanted to quit after that lol. But JZ and I persevered on and after being given lots of work, I started getting into the groove of things. Honestly, I do like office jobs only if I have work to do. If not, the day passes by ever so slowly.

Another thing that made the past 3 months quite a blast is the people I met. Working with friends really makes time so much more enjoyable and pass by in a blink of an eye. The office people are really very nice and it wasn't dull at all listening to their weird convos. Hahaha.

So recap today. Arrived at work like any other morning. Did the cheques until lunch. The haze was horrible in the afternoon. PSI was around 400 and most would rather stay indoors. The 6 of us were the masked gang as we braved the haze to buy food. It was either die of cancer or starve to death and none of us wanted to starve.

After lunch, I did the suspense thing and dragged it out for about an hour before giving it back to Josephine. Asked if she had anything else for me to do and she gave me endorsements to type.

Oh ya, AVP suddenly came and handed me a mask. Haha.

Do do do then they wanted to go to HR to give the time sheets. Saw Aaron and Jordan going to Josephine so I went over to ask her to sign. Then went down to HR with the two of them.

Suddenly talked a lot to Aaron who I think has bottled up his feelings because he began complaining about the amount of work he had to do. Hahaha. Finally found out a lot of things today like his aunt works there and is the lady that I always see go to him. His aunt is BFFs with Gloria and Janet, 2 scary ladies. He sits with the 2 AVPs who are lunch kakis with his aunt so they report everything to her.

Went to finance with him again to teach him how to collect the cheques. Talked a lot again. He has to message Jingyi if he's late and he has to compensate. I didn't know that lol. Went back up and we had like a hurried whispered convo because I was like reminding him to not forget and Jingyi was looking at the two of us all amused.

The temps suddenly gathered at our desk area and Aaron began talking about how he went down to smoke then suddenly saw the head. He even held the door open for him. The head is his aunt's direct boss so he's scared that he will tell his aunt that he smokes because apparently it's a secret. I was like "You're legal what" but he says his aunt is damn fierce. Haha. Aaron also feels bad that he goes down and the smoke will be on his clothes because Jingyi has asthma. We joked and laughed about the office people till 6pm when it was time to leave.

The guys were talking about Janet staring at Aaron in the lift full of CS people. Even the 'fierce lady' laughed. Oops.

Went to PS after that. Killed time by walking around and collecting the tickets before going to Pizza Hut for dinner. Horrible service. Food was late and not really up to standard and Jasmine was pissed lol. Cancelled orders because we were already late for our movie. Arrived in the cinema and the show was already starting. But we had to pee so the four of us left JZ alone. Long line and it was so hilarious because Sze Yan and Jasmine went in but there was no tissue paper and they made a big deal till this lady behind us gave them some.

Commotion when Josie handed Sze Yan some tissue paper and screaming and lots of talking like the toilet was empty. Passed tissue paper around because we were in the stalls beside each other. I couldn't stop laughing lol.

Watched 'World War Z'. Zombies! The movie is ok, not that spectacular. Confusing plot, no character development and the ending was disappointing. But I loved the suspense and couldn't stop laughing whenever Jasmine screamed.

Honestly enjoyed my Friday even though everything is so bittersweet.

Time flies when you're having fun. I think I've said this a million times but a recurring theme in my life is that I never regret the people I've met. Even though I've only known them (except JZ of course) for like 2 months and less, I can joke around and laugh so hard with them. I'll definitely miss lunches with them. Random tea breaks where we huddle around the bin and eat biscuits or cereals.

You don't miss/appreciate something till it's gone.

Well, 3 great months of my life. I've met tons of awesome people whom I hope I will remember for a long time. A new chapter begins. I wonder what kind of people I'll meet.
