Another chapter beckons
Catching up with some stuff last week from my Twitter. I need to see this here because I'm leaving the crazy office soon.
So last week, one of the things I remember was the AVP suddenly being like more nice than usual. I was walking back from the printer and I saw her standing up, looking at me. I was photocopying a lot of cheques and I had a depressed/pissed off expression on my face. I think she saw that because when she came up to me to ask to check for signatures, she was like "Can you help me check signatures? But you can finish all this first." She repeated that twice. Hahaha. I think it was another day that she asked me again and I passed her the signatures and she almost dropped it. From my tweet: Our reactions were funny. She was like "WHOA" and I kinda stumbled trying to save the papers. Hahaha.
Oh, we went to play pool during lunch last Wed I think. It was super random because the panda wanted to and I was all awkward because I've never played pool before in my entire life.
And the system was down for awhile so my section decided to have a mini snack party because the AVP had this tin of snacks inside. The other AVP suddenly appeared in front of me and asked the two guys sitting there "Nah, take. You guys forever hungry one right." Hahaha. Oh, the other section was also suddenly talking about shirt sizes and measuring themselves with a ruler rofl. It was kinda rare because the other section doesn't usually do stuff together, especially with the other AVP. So funny.
There was no plain paper that day too. I remember seeing the other AVP using the printer then she went off to get paper but when I wanted to print, I saw her talking with someone else lol. No more paper at the back but I think they took some from the other department. Funny thing is the short lady suddenly producing like random stacks of paper every time someone said there wasn't any. Like a squirrel hiding nuts sia. Haha. Oh, and I'm forever pressured whenever there's someone waiting to use the printer behind me. Especially if it's the other AVP.
Watched Fast 6 with the sissies. Awesome but the stunts were unbelievable. As in impossible. Haha.
And also watched 'Now You See Me' with JZ. Ooohhhh.
Went to have lunch with the makciks and their friend to celebrate Sah's super belated birthday on Saturday. They were late (what's new) and we had lunch at Ramen Ten. Sha ate like lots of sushi but didn't finish her ramen lol. Had to leave early to go to a sports stacking event at Kovan with JZ and Syafiq. Haven't done sports stacking in months but thankfully I still remembered some of the rules as I was judging. Takes me back to EPM days haha. Dinner with JZ and walked around. Found the Sims 3 Pets! Yay.
Finally got my sexaaayyyy red IPod Nano!
Sasshi won center, Mariko's gonna graduate, Ain's dying love for AKB might be dead.
Went shopping on Sunday with Amalina. Bought a lot of cheap stuff and spent quite a lot lol.
Came to work on Monday to find the floor dark, like a zombie apocalypse. Apparently there was a power trip so only the essential lights were on. Everyone without a laptop was just sitting around and talking. Some of them went to have breakfast. CS was like the last department to get full power, nearly two hours later.
And I finally got the call from ICA in the morning. The HR guy sounded dead and kept mumbling. Tsk. I answered so unsure when he asked if I was still keen. Haha. Sigh, I mulled over it for a while but I've decided to take it; sign two years of my life away. I can't keep working temp there even though I've grown to like the office. The pay's pretty good at ICA and I get more benefits as a full-timer so I think I'll grab this chance with both hands.
Uneventful past two days at the office. Went to dinner on Tuesday before KXM has to leave for NS. Then walked along Orchard Road taking random pictures. Hahaha.
Will be informing my supervisor either today or tomorrow that next week is gonna be my last week. I'm sad though. D:
