Miss A's Independent Showcase 2013

So I won free tickets to the showcase and brought my sister along although both of us are not big Miss A fans. I wouldn't even call myself a fan, more of a casual listener. I mean, I know who they are and I listen to their songs but, I just don't dig them enough to call myself a fan.


It was at The Star Performing Arts Centre which is located in Star Vista at Buona Vista. The first time I've been there ever. The mall was mehhhh. A lot of food places but nothing much. Ate and waited around before entering the place.

Damn, the place is cool and kinda posh. The seats are niceee.

Our view. We were beside the aisle and it was quite near. The nearest I've been for a K Pop concert.

The banner for Jia's birthday. It was put on the seat and I thought it was some kind of decoration at first. Haha

The show started off with IDNAM. I could see them so clearly and man was it a thrill. Will never get tired of saying this, idols always look better in real life. Period. So pretttyyyy. The crowd was a bit dull though. Idk if they were fans or what, but there was not fan chants or anything and it was just... dead. There were a group of fan girls who were hyped with their signs and lights. 

I can't remember the set list. There were interview segments and games. The first one was with 3 lucky fans who had to dance and there was this dude who was so good at it. They then got the chance to take a polaroid with Miss A. Even if I'm not a fan, boy was I envious. Haha. 

The thing I wanna highlight is I now understand what the fuss about Suzy is. She was so sweet and cute and she spouted some random Engrish and Mandarin. Idk, she was kinda awkward and I laughed at seeing her awkwardness. Ahhhh. So cute. 

Fei and Min came close to us and Kul got to touch Min's hand. The crowd went kinda crazy at that point, rushing forward to take pictures and whatnot. The show ended after that. 

It was good. Even though idk most of the songs, Miss A was cool and although the crowd was a bit dull, did their best to engage and hype us up. I won't say I'm a fan but they A class. :D

Ok another wrap up of the past few weeks. And I just found out Khad stalks me so HI KHADIJAH! Since I can vaguely remember what happen... Oh, there was IB presentation on Tuesday. It went ok, I wasn't as nervous. I think I present better in casual clothes lol. Khai lent me his Sims Medieval CDs.  And we got back our ICA 2 results. So suprising that I freakin' PASSED. And not just passed, I got like a good %. I was super shocked when I got the paper back because as you know, I'd expected to fail with a big fat F. To pass with this kind of marks totally blew my mind. Hehehe.  So that night, something flew into my eye while I was doing the most mundane thing possible. Watching TV in my sisters' room. I tried to get it out: blinking furiously, tearing up and crying a river, dumping water and eye drops into my eye and it still wouldn't come out. Since JZ wasn't at work yesterday, the evil genius a.k.a Ain decided to print out pictures of 2 aunties (that I had previously changed her phone wallpaper to) and stick it around her desk area to troll her.   I swear I could stop laughing when ASY was drawing this. It was so hilarious ok hahaha. Anyways, since JZ always comes to work early and I wanted to see her reaction, I decided to ask her for breakfast. Had porridge at KFC before coming to work 15 minutes late. Lol. I think this was the first time in almost 2 months that JZ and I went to work together. I think Sebas was surprised. JZ's reaction was funniest when she opened the keyboard drawer and saw the pictures. She literally jumped back and burst out laughing and I too couldn't stop laughing.
