Attachment and turning 19
End of week 1 of attachment... 9 more weeks to go.
So I was like 15 minutes late on my first day because of an idiotic thing. I pressed the bell but it didn't light up so I missed my stop then the next one at the JC before it finally stopped at this bus stop super far from the school. Ok, not super far but far cause the school so ulu.
Had to walk all the way in. Sigh. Met with my supervisor. She shall henceforth be called STO. I'm so paranoid about them finding my Twitter, FB and blog as I wanna post about my experience in private. Anyway, she's loud. Very loud.
Reminds me of Mdm Leow in secondary school, except louder. Hahaha. Dressed semi-formal but then everyone in my team was dressed casually. There's 4 people including me; STO, J and H. My desk is like, behind and there's 3 chairs but I'm the only intern. Sobs. Awkward turtle on the first day. Attended assembly except instead of sitting with the students, I'm standing at the side like a teacher. BOOM. And I saw this lady that looked like Ms Yue, my sec 2 Maths teacher and she was IC of IT Club after Mdm Leow left. I think it's her, I'm sure it's her, after seeing her up close and hearing the students call her name. She looks different though, but then again, I haven't seen her in over 3 years.
Day 1 passed by in a blur. I came on just the right week because there were 2 major events happening. Mr President's visit and Infinity Challenge and APC. Dood, I got to see Dr Tony Tan up close... By taking his chair away haha. It was a good experience, so different, but so cool. Oh, and he came on my birthday. Hehe.
Standard birthday celebration. Pizza and cake. But I like it. 2 of my favourite things. Was kinda sad that only Muin and Shah wished me first before all of the messages came in. Although some people did forget... Boo.
Today was also eventful. Was running late when the bus stopped and didn't move. Looked up and saw someone shaking like she was having a seizure. Didn't know what to do and I got scared so I got off. Waited around before deciding to walk. Just my freakin' luck when I was waiting at the traffic light to see another 900a coming.
*rolls eyes*
Anyway, soldiered on under the hot sun and reached at 8:50am. Thought I was late but they didn't really mind. I just have to be there before 9am and in time for morning assembly. I don't even do anything even when I reach early. Just stone at my desk till assembly hahaha.
Lepak day. Did media monitoring which usually takes around an hour and it's just pouring through the newspapers to see if any alumni is mentioned. If there is, then I cut out the article and highlight their name nad write all the other details. Supposed to scan then send an email to either H or J but my email account isn't activated yet or something. Yeahhh.
Then went to lunch at this Indian restaurant. It was my first time eating like 'real' Indian food and STO ordered for us naan and other delights. Dood, naan is so goooddd. She kept insisting I eat other weird foods but I declined because duh, I'm not adventurous. Haha, it is kinda annoying though. Tsk. She upgraded from calling me 'minah' to 'anak'. And she said cause of that she can scold me. LOL.
Was supposed to end at 5:30pm today but only ended at around 6:30pm after all the events. Walked to the 901 bus stop cause it's faster than waiting for the dratted 900a bus.
So tired and sleep rn but I refuse to sleep early. Haha. Going to Shah's house tomorrow! Yay.
