YOG Museum

Went to the YOG Museum on last Wednesday as part of the ISOS module. First field trip in like over a year so we were kinda excited. I think. Haha

Quite chaotic bus ride because everyone was counting and Shah was like, everyone is on so the bus went. But then they remembered Faiz and everyone just laughed because we forgot him. He had to take the SA bus. The bus took a long route to the museum so even though we left first, we arrived second.

It was guided tour and this lady brought us around the first floor, talking about the values and history of the Olympics. After that, we went up to the 2nd floor, into this room where there was a talk by Mr. C. Kunalan. He was super funny and interesting and we all had a great laugh while he talked about himself and his career as a sprinter. When he said he had HIV, everyone paused, before he revealed "Hair is vanishing", which made everyone crack up.

Then it was the games stations where we were split into 3 teams and got to try different stations.

It was very chaotic as we were like little kids, laughing and having fun.

Next was an Amazing race kind of thing where they gave us questions and we had to find the answers in the museum. Everyone got into it even if they were like "Meh" about it. When it was time to go through the answers, we laughed so hard at Syafiq's answer to 'Who was the first African American to win an Olympic medal' and he put 'Selena'. Hahaha. Who the heck is Selena?

After that was a sharing session with one of the young Olympian but we were running out of time so the talk was cut short. Took some pictures.

And recorded a video for our SW senior who's going to be in the upcoming London Olympics.

Quite a fun day. Interesting and I learnt a lot. :D
