Double SC
Woke up at 8:30am on a Saturday. Met Kakak at JE MRT station before taking the bus to IMM. JE has changed a lot! :O Like the bus interchange has moved and all the shops are totally different. Haha, the first time I was there since foreverrrr.
Went to BK for breakfast. BK's breakfasts always look super tempting and this was the first time I'd ever eaten their breakfast.
Delicious! Yum.
The plan for the day was to go to Snow City and the Science Centre. It's been forever since the last time I've been to both. I had this image in my mind that the place would be like deserted or something because it's been soooo long since I went there. But surprise, surprise, there were actual human beings there! Hahaha. Bought the 1 hour Snow City and Science Centre tickets and went in. Collected the boots, gloves and jackets. I love the jackets, super big and waterproof and warm. I'll need it when I go to a cold country.
The place was still the same as I remembered it to be. Although they stopped the 'safety briefing' thing or something and you could just go straight in. When we went in, it was immediate photo taking. Like we were celebrities or something. I got so many of the photo slips. It was quite annoying too since we wanted to have fun but they kept asking to take pictures. Like chill dudes.
Slid down the slope dunno how many times. The first time we did it, my butt hurt. And snow flew in my face and we went super fast and Kakak was screaming. Hahaha. There wasn't a lot of people in there so it was quite embarrassing hearing us screams and laugh like idiots. But it was super fun. ^__^
After freezing our hands and faces, we went to the Science Centre. When was the last time I went there? Hmm. Primary school I think. I don't remember going there during secondary school. The place looked different, to me at least, because when we go on school visits, it is always hurried and we don't visit every exhibit. There were quite a lot of people there. Again, doesn't mean I don't go there, other people don't. Haha.
Went to almost all of the exhibits, trying and fiddling with the stuff on display. I really like the hands on things. So many different things to try although I think the place needs a renovation cause some of the displays were broken or missing some stuff. Spent almost 2 hours there.
It was fun and brought back many memories of running through the place with old classmates and teachers screaming at us to keep order. Sigh, now that I think about it, I do miss my primary school days. Only the Keming years. I still dislike PTPS. Hmph. :<
Walked around in JCube to see the ice rink. A lot of people. Looked more like Arctic commuting. Haha, Kudos 2 reference. But it did look fun and I haven't gone ice skating in foreverrrr. After that, had a late lunch at Wendy's before going home.
Fun and educational Saturday. I've actually done some school work. Researched for ISOS, found an article for HRM and started on IB studying.
WOW FANTASTIC BABY~!
