Full weekend

Another full weekend with events. Long post so brace yourself.

With the team minus Andrew

To start it off, we had the Bull Charge on Friday at the Marina Bay Floating Platform. It was the first time ever I had been there so that was exciting. The whole area was cordoned off so we, being too lazy to find the real entrance, just pushed the barricades aside and went in. LIKEABOSS, lol. 

Waited till like 12pm before someone told us to do something. Packed 500 goodie bags which were missing calendars. The work went by quite fast since there were many hands. After that, Serena and the team finally came and we did minor work. Got to go into the VIP room which had air con so everyone was happy, haha.

After going for lunch and taking 500 hours to decide, Khai, Sah and I went to eat at LJS while the others ate at a restaurant whose name I've forgotten. Went back, Sah, Yvonne and I were pulled into doing registration.

It was easy since not many people came. Although there were minor hiccups here and there, the job finished fast and I went to join the others to watch the flag off of the start of the race. A company wore kilts while another wore matching devil hats. 

Sorted out goodie bags with Syafiq and Khai which proved to be quite useless later on, lol. Stationed in the goodie bag counter and braced ourselves for the onslaught. Had to repeatedly tell people that goodie bag collection was after 7:30pm which disappointed many. The IC, Jimmy, had to bear much of the disgruntlement of the participants. 

After a huge crowd had gathered, Jimmy finally said "Release the floodgates" and the people came rushing to us. Sah and I did the individuals and it was quite hectic. We were too busy and it was hard work. The whole ordeal was over in 20 minutes, which should be some kind of record, haha. 

Funny incident. The Bank of America, the people with the devil caps came. ZF said to me "Speak of the devil." The lady looked at us and said "What?" And ZF was like "I was just talking to her." Which made me LOL.

Packing up, blah blah then we went to our favourite part of the day, the food. Got to eat at the VIP tent where the buffet was at. After eating, took some pictures then home.

On Saturday, woke up early to go to Tampines for Andrew's event briefing. A lot of confusion but Khai and I went to the park first. Waited for the others and went to the briefing. Was walking along the trail when it suddenly rained and all of us dashed to the security post for shelter. Got totally wet. We then walked to Century Square to eat at Food Culture before Khai and I left to go to Suntec for Anime Festival Asia 2011.

Met with JZ and we walked around. A lot of people and of course, cosplayers. I was just excited to see the AKB48 booth, haha. Got to take pictures with my oshis! OMG. Not really but really, heh.

Khai went and took pictures with various cosplayers, lol. I like AFA. It's where it's cool to be a geek/nerd and be weird cause no one cares.

Back to Tamp on Sunday for Sah's badminton event at the Tampines Sports Hall. 

Hi!

Except doing registration with Clare, did nothing else after that. Sat around and watched them play before Sah decided to abandon ship cause we were literally doing nothing. 

The guy gave us $50 which we tried to reject cause we didn't do anything but he scolded David so we accepted it. After that, went off to eat at Texas Chicken before snoozing on the bus home. 

Well that's my weekend. Next weekend is gonna be packed too. See you!
