Work!
LONG TIME NO POST.
Well, been working for the past few weeks. At Isetan Wisma and then 2 days at Scotts. Seriously, I wonder how I even survived working for 7 hours each day, sometimes standing around doing nothing.
Worked at the shoes section which I think is way easier than handbags cause it's more straightforward. Just look at the group name, size and colour. And they only have like a few sizes so you don't have to search and they're in boxes which makes it oh so much easier to find.
The full timer there was called Christie and the part timer Kresta. There was another temp part timer like me named Sarra (he's a guy). They were nice and friendly and it was quite fun working with them. Only got close to them (as in, joking around) at the end, which kinda sucks. We laughed and talked too much on the last day, which was the 21st. Seriously, I sold nothing on that day. We just joked around and laughed.
After that, I worked alone at Scotts. The first day is always a blur. You first have to figure out where everything is. The drawer with the memos, pens and tape/stapler. Then the storeroom where all the bags are. I didn't even know there was a wallet wagon until they kept shouting "Guess! Guess!" I had to rush to the other side to attend to the customer. And I also totally forgot about the cabinet with wallets.
Was totally boring. Zomg. No one to talk to except the aunties there. So basically I spent the hours pacing around, staring into space and listening to music. The good thing about Scotts is they play Taylor Swift songs. ^^ And in one day, I had to answer 3 calls. One from a customer, one from someone looking for the full timer and one from Tangs asking me to search for a bag.
Well, technically I'm done with work. Have to fill in my time sheet and somehow meet Joy to pass it to her so she can sign it and fax it to the agency and then I can get my pay and spend it and enjoy whatever is left of my holidays, which is like, 3 weeks.
And my results were ok. Improved my GPA by a bit. Well, any improvement is good improvement I guess.
AND AND TAKAMINA IS COMING TO SINGAPORE ZOMG! THE LEADER OF AKB48. I NEED TO GO.
