Forgot to post this yesterday so here's my fan account of the concert last night.

So I’m back from the 7pm show of AKB48’s first ever performance in their Singapore theatre. It was so amazing and awesome and *pukes rainbows*

Start from the top (like always), went out around 2pm and took the MRT to Somerset. Already saw a queue when I reached *SCAPE so I rushed to the shop to get my Atsuko poster. Totally empty, unlike the chaos of yesterday. Probably cause everyone was either enjoying the 3pm show or waiting in line for the 7pm show, lol.

After getting the poster, joined the line. Anyways, one thing that kinda irked me was people just jumping into the queue with their friends, which was, I feel, unfair to others who were behind them. I was suddenly behind a huge group of Japanese people instead of just 2 people -.- They were trading photo cards and talking and I was just there like a lost kitten.

I NEED AKB FRIENDS.

They led us into the theatre at around 6pm. I got to sit at the 5th row, just a bit off from the middle, which is not a bad seat. Directly behind me was a row reserved for special guests. One important thing I did not bring was a light stick. -.- So I was just awkwardly sitting there while all the others were already out with their light sticks. Must remember to bring one next concert. I’m gonna bring my pink lightsaber and outshine everyone. >:-D Funny thing, the lady who did the announcements was Japanese and she spoke good English but she made a small mistake.

Lady: Please stand on the chairs as it is dangerous.

Audience: LOL

One word and it becomes a whole different meaning, lol.

Concert started on time. The lighting was fantastic, I must say. Very bright and strong. First song was Beginner with Komorin as center. I was just staring in awe, yet again. Dude, seeing them live is so totally different. Next was Ponytail, with Komorin the center again. The crowd were pumped up. The next song was Iiwake Maybe with Aamin as center. Whenever any of the members came to our side of the stage, I just smiled like a total idiot. Especially when I saw Komorin, cause idk how to describe it, but she looks different. Less blank like and more, idk, polished? Lol.

After that were the MCs. They just basically introduced themselves. Apparently, a difference was that in the first show, they spoke in English but in the night show, they just spoke in Japanese. Bummer. I really enjoy hearing them trying to speak English, and failing, but the whole process is just too cute. Especially when they write it on the palm of their hands, lol.

It was sub group songs after that, none of which I knew, sadly. But I enjoyed them nonetheless, especially when Myao came out in a fur coat and rocked on stage. Go check the set list for the song cause I have no idea what it is, haha. Short MC.

Funny thing: one of the girls (I think it was Amina or Moeno) said something in English and she kinda expected people to cheer but then we couldn’t understand what she said, so there was this one second of awkward silence before people laughed and clapped. Lol.

Then it was Aitakatta! Awesome song, zomg. Bingo, Oogoe Diamond and Sakura no ki ni Narou. The centers for the songs were Komorin, Aamin and Moeno, who was the center for SKN. Then they said goodbye and it was a ‘cooling down’ period before the encore.

It was so hilarious. Some of the people who came before knew that there would be announcements first so none of them shouted encore. But there was this group of small Japanese girls who were the ones shouting but others shushed them. Then suddenly someone shouted AKB and the others shouted 48. It continued but people just randomly shouted SKE, SDN and NMB with one guy in front of me shouting, “HKT!” LMAO. It was all over the place and I was just giggling to myself at the ridiculousness of the whole situation. The announcements were the 2nd show was gonna be AKB with SDN coming on the 3rd show. ^^

The girls came out and they sang HEAVY ROTATION WHICH IS THE MOST ROCKING SONG.\m/ Komorin was center for this. I swear this song is just so chant worthy and so awesome. They then sang Hikoukigumo before ending the show with Dareka no tame ni. After that, they spoke a bit and dude, Myao’s English is quite good. Like, her pronunciation is good. She said that we were gonna be talking a picture with them, which was them on the stage facing this man on a ladder with us in the background. Haha. Then she said ‘Puh-lease’ at the wrong moment, which made everyone LOL.

After that, HIGH TOUCH! I always look forward to this but am always scared to death about it. First person I high fived was Yone-chan and after that was Myao. ZOMG, whenever I see her I feel like squeezing her cheeks like a weirdo, yes. Heh. My hand was already up to high five her but she was distracted and talking to the girl beside her (can’t remember who) about the guy’s hand before me. So I felt awkward alone before she turned back and said ‘Thank you’, which of course made me melt and almost die on the floor right there and then.

The thing that makes all of us feel super happy I think, is because when they high five you, they look directly into your eyes and say either “Thank you” or “Arigato” which makes us feel so bloody important and special and like time just stopped. I just high fived them normally and they thanked me and I thanked them back and bowed a bit because I do not know what to say, like always. I’m just awkward ok.

When it came to Ayarin, my hand was up, but she was like, in her own rhythm cause she paused for a while before saying, “Sank you, sank you”, which cracked me up so I was like grinning like an idiot for the last few girls. I stayed around watching them high five all the people before they went back in. Before they went in, a group said ‘Good work’ to them and everyone cheered.

Ah, best night ever (I keep saying this, I know, lol) This weekend was the bomb. Shook hands with Wasamin, Komorin and Myao, high fived the three of them, saw them perform and then high five with all 16 members. Life is good.

I think I’m loving Nacchan and Mariyannu more now and of course MYAO <3333

I’m now suffering from AKB withdrawal and have to go to school tomorrow, BOO. But the best thing is, they’re gonna come back again! HAHA, OH YEAHHHH.
