December Weekend

Happy that we won UNO

On Saturday, went to BB BK to meet up with Amanda Lim Qing Pei, Khad and Keciq for a random meet up to play UNO and Monopoly Deal.

At BK, I was the only eating. After eating, played Monopoly Deal (MD) and amazingly, I won twice! Haha, I've played MD with my classmates and I lose every single time (loser sign on forehead). Bought pie then played UNO. And I won like once and came in second the other times. I was on fire! Haha.

Laughed and talked. Then went to Fairprice cause Khad and Keciq wanted to buy sushi. There, I proceeded to poke every single thing that interested me and also squeeze and pinch Amanda's cheeks, which I haven't done in a long time.

Then rounded WM before going home. :)

Today, woke up freakin' early (5:10am -.-) to go to the Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon. I think today is the earliest I have woken up this whole year.

Anyways, met Shahidah at Marina Bay, because according to her, the race point was at Marina Barrage. However, on the MRT, I saw most of the race participants getting off at City Hall. So, there was nothing at Marina Bay, and with red faces, we boarded the train again and went to City Hall.

We followed the hundreds of people wearing the race shirt to the start point. Took lots of random pictures. The whole point of being there was to 'observe' how the event was run and organized. But we were like tourists, taking pictures with the Esplanade, the Marina Bay IR and Supreme Court. LOL.

Walked like crazy to find the start point for the 10km run. Saw the flag off then went to the Padang for the end point.

Got ambushed by people asking to do survey. Took pictures again then went to see if we could see Yvonne finishing the race. Spent like an hour looking at people running, before boredom, tiredness, hunger and thirst made us go look for food, shelter and something to do.

Ate at KFC. Then sat on the steps outside Marina Square, talking nonsense about our lives. Yvonne still haven't called and it was getting hot, so we went back in and sat down at one of the seats. Finally told someone about my current 'want', which is super embarrassing to talk about out loud.

Turns out, we wanted the same thing and proceeded to talk about it. Totally forgot our whole objective for going there. In the end, didn't meet Yvonne since she was going home. Oops. Talked some more before finally going home at around 12pm.

Tiring weekend, especially today.

And 1 more week to the fan meet. (YES)
