Safina Falters




Svetlana Kuznetsova is the 2009 Roland Garros Ladies champion after defeating world number 1 and compatriot Dinara Safina, 6-4, 6-2. Safina double faulted on championship point, literally handing the trophy to Kuznetsova. She was in tears at the end as she blew her big chance. Kuznetsova is now the proud owner of two Grand Slams, including her first which was the 2004 US Open. She has now gotten rid of the tag of '1 Slam Wonder'.


Some of the other current tennis players still with 1 Grand Slam include Ana Ivanovic (2008 French Open), Novak Djokovic (2008 Australian Open), Carlos Moya (1998 French Open), Andy Roddick (2003 US Open) and others.


Roger Federer will join the club of 14 Grand Slams with it's only member, Pete Sampras, if he can overcome the jerk who dumped Rafael Nadal out of the French Open.


I so want him to win. ROGER ROGER!

Ok another wrap up of the past few weeks. And I just found out Khad stalks me so HI KHADIJAH! Since I can vaguely remember what happen... Oh, there was IB presentation on Tuesday. It went ok, I wasn't as nervous. I think I present better in casual clothes lol. Khai lent me his Sims Medieval CDs.  And we got back our ICA 2 results. So suprising that I freakin' PASSED. And not just passed, I got like a good %. I was super shocked when I got the paper back because as you know, I'd expected to fail with a big fat F. To pass with this kind of marks totally blew my mind. Hehehe.  So that night, something flew into my eye while I was doing the most mundane thing possible. Watching TV in my sisters' room. I tried to get it out: blinking furiously, tearing up and crying a river, dumping water and eye drops into my eye and it still wouldn't come out. Trolls!

Since JZ wasn't at work yesterday, the evil genius a.k.a Ain decided to print out pictures of 2 aunties (that I had previously changed her phone wallpaper to) and stick it around her desk area to troll her.   I swear I could stop laughing when ASY was drawing this. It was so hilarious ok hahaha. Anyways, since JZ always comes to work early and I wanted to see her reaction, I decided to ask her for breakfast. Had porridge at KFC before coming to work 15 minutes late. Lol. I think this was the first time in almost 2 months that JZ and I went to work together. I think Sebas was surprised. JZ's reaction was funniest when she opened the keyboard drawer and saw the pictures. She literally jumped back and burst out laughing and I too couldn't stop laughing.
