Shocks!

Sad news. World no. 1 and top seed, Ana Ivanovic, was sent packing from Wimbledon. She lost in straight sets, 6-1, 6-4, to world no. 133, Zheng Jie of China.

Darn it.

I really wanted her to win. Now I'm rooting for either, Jelena Jankovic, Svetlana Kuznetsova or defending champion Venus Williams to win.

I was so shocked when I read the news. This is one of the most weirdest Wimbledon ever. Most of the seeded players are out. Sharapova, Mauresmo, Mirza, Bartoli, Hantuchova, Djokovic, Roddick, Blake and a lot more in the exodus of the seeds. Lucky, Roger Federer is still in.

Oh. And I just found out that a lot of people, especially the Russians, feel a lot of resentment towards Maria Sharapova. The girl (whatshername), who beat Maria, said that no one on the tour knows Maria well because she's not a very talkative girl and not outgoing. She also said that it was very pleasant to beat Maria because she didn't like her outfit. She also rambled on about not being afraid of being caught in the dressing room by Maria and that it was the best day of her young, inexperienced, life.

Maria retorted, "Everybody is hungry. This girl that beat me, she might not win the tournament, but she beat me. And it probably made her tournament."

Haha. Nice one, Maria.

For a girl, with an impossibly long surname, she sure has a big ass mouth. She dissed Maria's outfit. Her outfit was not something to look at either. She's being sponsored by a company no one has heard of, beat the World no. 3, which is probably a one-off thing, and has the nerve to talk like she won the war and is crowned queen of the entire universe. Puh-lease. Maria could so take you down if both of you confronted each other in the dressing room. She'll sock you once and you'll be K.Oed.
