Camp
So back from 3 days and 2 nights of camp. Whew. Glad that I am back in one piece. So much to say.
DAY 1
So went to school like normal. Then after the morning assembly, saw the instrutors. Lucky the classes weren't divided into two. It was like a military camp. We had to fall in, march and all that. Our 2 PMs were Sir Azmil and Maam Jocelyn. We leant the basic drills and then there was this game where a PM (Platoon Mentor) would drop something and shout, "Grenade!". Then you have to run away from the place and lie on the floor with your hands covering your ears. First time, we did it wrongly. We faced the grenade, so technically we would be dead. Second time, we did it wrongly again. We didn't cross our legs so no father's day for the boys. Haha. Finally, we did it right and when he shouted, we ran like nobody's business. The boys ran so far until where we put our bags. Hahaha. What the hell. Had recess then finally went to the camp place.
It looked like what the name of the place was, Singapore Vision FARM. It was like a farm. A place where we were to eat and a HQ, where we slept.
So after settling in, we played our first game. The Slippery Slope. It's a big plastic thingy covering a patch of a hill and the PM sprayed water on it to make it slippery. We were supposed to take the rope from on top and pass it down so that the others could climb up. After several faild attempts by the boys, namely Keith and Kevin, Mawar was the one who reached the top. We all climbed up and down and it was fun. Sort of bonded. I dunno.
We climbed the cargo net then went to this thing where there's two wires over water and you are supposed to hold on to it and cross over. We cheered and encouraged Asher to make it but he didn't. Eventhough the PM didn't shake the rope, Asher said he did. Asher was shaking like a leaf.
I don't remember what we did at night. But during shower time, we discovered that the toilet are SHIT. It's like a container and they divided it into small cubicles with a toilet and a shower with a thick curtain to cover. That's all. OMG. Then they asked us to shower two to a cubicle some more. No logic. Isn't it the same as showering one person? You have to wait for the other to finish before you shower. Me and Mary went in together but we took different cubicles. Haha.
We slept on this wooden platforms thingy. 5 people to a platform. We laid out our sleeping bags and it was around like almost 12am. I fell asleep because I was so tired but then woke up at around 1 because the girls were noisy. Then fell asleep. We all planned to wake up at 5.30 because we wanted to shower. But then woke up at 6 and took a cold shower to wake ourselves up.
Second day was full of activities starting of with 1 500 success claps. You are supposed to clap above your head and you can't let down your arms. Wah... Damn tired seh. My arms aching like what the hell. I was so irritated and frustrated and wanted to shout, "Fuck you!" to the Encik. Haha. Damn angry seh. Exercise before breakfast some more... Grr... I DID NOT at all feel successful. My honest opinion. It was like what the fricking shit.
The best part was the victory march. We walked almost 4.3km. The school flag was at the front, flying high and proud. It looked so impressive, fluttering in the wind. Felt kinda proud. Our class was at the front and we sang songs with Captain Ridz.
Then came CO Night and we decided to sing a song. OMG. The song didn't even rhyme but at least it was written by us. Sheng Jie and Keith played the guitars and before the performance, I was scared out of my wits. I am not confident on stage. Nu uh. The first time we tried, we didn't even know what we were doing. Then we were ike, "Sheng Jie, sing louder." When the song stopped, he said something. we were like, "SHHHH...". Haha. We tried again and it was ok... Bahaha. I do not want to see the performance.NOOOOO. Then everyone cried because got appreciation thing. Ms L so bad. Say to Mrs C that teachers teach us so long but never cry but the PMs only with us for 2 days and then cry. HAHA. I didn't cry. Didn't fet like crying at all. I was the one who was offering the tissues. HEHE.
Then yesterday, we had a graduation ceremony where they gave us these cool bandanas. After that went back to school. Got back report books.

Then walked home and bought a giant Slurpee. Mhmmm... So nice... After 2 days... Hai... Went home, unpacked and rested. :d

Manchester United crashed out of the FA Cup under controversial circumtances. The ref gave a penalty to Pompey after Tomasz Kuszczak was adjudged to have brought down Milan Baros. Kuszczak was sent off, Ferdinand became the goalkeeper, Pompey scored. End of story. No Treble this year. Dammit.
