YOG Singapore 2010


Singapore beat Moscow to host the first ever Youth Olympic Games in 2010. Yesterday was the day when the red and white flag of the Republic of Singapore flew high and proud. Singapore made history. I couldn't help but feel so very proud of this small city-state of 4.5 million people. We beat the bigweight, Moscow, to host it. We, come 2010, will welcome thousands of young athletes and representatives to our beautiful garden city. So it is our duty, my fellow Singaporeans, to make our country proud. To represent Singapore to the world. To showcase our talents and promote our city. To leave a lasting impression on people and make them go, 'Wow!'. Let's work together to make the 2010 Youth Olympic Games, a success.


Good speech right. I can be a speaker for the government. But shyness. So, who wants to take the speech? Haha.


Today was a short day at school. Only had MT, English and PE. My legs feel like jelly when walking down the steps. So painful after broad jumping. Ergh... Nothing new at school. Same old, same old.


Might go and play tennis with Aini tommorow. See first. :D

Ok another wrap up of the past few weeks. And I just found out Khad stalks me so HI KHADIJAH! Since I can vaguely remember what happen... Oh, there was IB presentation on Tuesday. It went ok, I wasn't as nervous. I think I present better in casual clothes lol. Khai lent me his Sims Medieval CDs.  And we got back our ICA 2 results. So suprising that I freakin' PASSED. And not just passed, I got like a good %. I was super shocked when I got the paper back because as you know, I'd expected to fail with a big fat F. To pass with this kind of marks totally blew my mind. Hehehe.  So that night, something flew into my eye while I was doing the most mundane thing possible. Watching TV in my sisters' room. I tried to get it out: blinking furiously, tearing up and crying a river, dumping water and eye drops into my eye and it still wouldn't come out. Trolls!

Since JZ wasn't at work yesterday, the evil genius a.k.a Ain decided to print out pictures of 2 aunties (that I had previously changed her phone wallpaper to) and stick it around her desk area to troll her.   I swear I could stop laughing when ASY was drawing this. It was so hilarious ok hahaha. Anyways, since JZ always comes to work early and I wanted to see her reaction, I decided to ask her for breakfast. Had porridge at KFC before coming to work 15 minutes late. Lol. I think this was the first time in almost 2 months that JZ and I went to work together. I think Sebas was surprised. JZ's reaction was funniest when she opened the keyboard drawer and saw the pictures. She literally jumped back and burst out laughing and I too couldn't stop laughing.
