Monday
So today was Day 1 and the time to report to school was 8.30am. Everyday Day 1 from now on. Cool right. I know. So anyways, I woke up at like 6.40am and realised that my sister still hadn't woke up to go to school and I, in a rush, woke her up. My mom too was like, " Amalina! Bangun, bangun!". So after that, I slept till 7.15am and woke up to take a shower and get ready to go to school.
As you all NOW know, I am offically a tennis fan. How did I become a tennis fan alot of you are probably wondering (it's a good story), it was because Maria Sharapova came to Singapore and everyone was making such a big deal out of it and I went to Youtube to see some videos of her playing. I like what I saw so one day, while I was waiting for a football match to start on TV, there was the 2007 Hopman Cup Mixed Doubles Finals(USA (Serena Williams and Mardy Fish) vs. Serbia ( Jelena Jankovic and Novak Djokovic) ). So I watched it for awile and kind of got into the game and that's when my love affair with tennis started.
I was so bummed that I did not get the chance to watch the some day matches of the 2008 Australian Open. I watched a bit and then went to school.
School was ok2. It was only DnT and I already wanted to go home. Hahaha. It was that boring. So anyways, MT was the turning point of the day. Got scolded by Ckg A because we didn't hand in our homework on time. Blah, blah, blah. I was so surprised when ckg said I was supposed to be a model student and that she was disappointed in me. I'm like, 'What the hey!?'. So we had to write a letter and here is a tounge-in-cheek letter (In English):
Dear Cikgu,
I am so sorry that I did not hand in my homework on time. I know that you are so disappointed in me and I am truly sorry I let you down. The truth is, I had finished the work but since everyone didn't hand it in, I thought, "What the heavens, I'll hand it in late too." But the next day, I so totally forgot and I apologised for that. When you approached me on Friday afternoon, I had changed bags so I did not have the work with me. Saturday I did not see your beautiful face. I promise I won't to this ever again. (I hope) So that's that.
Deeply sorry,
Ain
P.s: I am very, very surpirsed that you consider me a model student. I am still, as I am writing this,in shock at your unexpected but very appreciated comment.
Now, just to translate it into Malay. Help, anyone?
So to tennis, my favourite male players are Roger Federer (Duh, coz he's so awesome and world no. 1) and Novak Djokovic (he's so cute! And his imitations of other players are so funny!). My favourite female players are Maria Sharapova (Duh, coz she's so fabulous and drop dead gorgeous , talented and graceful on the court) and Jelena Jankovic (she's fabulous too and I love her attitude, so kind and humble plus she's oh, so gorgeous with her lush long, straight black hair).
Coincidentally, I was hoping to be able to watch the lovely Ms. Sharapova playing and when I switched on the TV, surprise!, surprise!, she was on playing agaisnt this Croatian (name, I cannot remember.Jelena something) and she won! Yay!
Whew, long post.
Wait! Man U beat Newcastle, wait for it... wait for it... 6-0! Ronaldo scored his first career hat trick and I am so thrilled for him! Go Ronny! This win takes the Red Devils top of the table albeit on goal difference. Woo! So proud of the Devils and especially, Ron!
That's all I think. *Ponders*
Yeap. Thanks for reading!
Signing off,
